Dress Code

Bayville Golf Club is a traditional, private, family oriented club that takes pride in the traditions of golf and the appropriate "atmosphere" on the golf course while playing golf.  Proper golf attire must be worn by all members and their guests.  Members and their guests will not be permitted to wear jeans on the golf course.  Improperly dressed golfers will be asked to change before playing. If you are in doubt concerning your attire, please check with the PGA Professional Staff before starting play. Listed below are examples of acceptable and unacceptable attire on the golf course. 
 
M E N ’ S
Acceptable Golf Attire


Shirts with collars and sleeves (including short and long sleeve mock turtlenecks),slacks and golf shorts that are no shorter than the length of a scorecard above the knee are considered appropriate attire. Men’s shirts must be worn tucked into slacks and shorts. Appropriate golf shoes must be worn on the golf course and practice facility. Use of non-metal spiked golf shoes are required at Bayville.

Unacceptable Golf Attire
Tank tops, tee shirts, fishnet tops, cutoffs, jams, sweatpants, jeans, bathing suits, tennis shorts or athletic shorts are not permitted.
